Charging and Remissions

At Thomas A Becket Infant, we aim to ensure that learning opportunities for your child are accessible and fairly provided. This page explains how charges and remissions may apply in line with UK guidance. Some activities, such as certain trips, workshops, or special events, may involve additional costs; where this is the case, we will always provide clear information about what the charge covers and whether voluntary contributions are requested. We will never charge for activities that are part of the national curriculum, religious education, or for essential materials that pupils need to participate in education, unless a specific exception applies. We also offer remissions to support families who may find costs difficult to meet, and we encourage parents to speak to the school office in confidence so that any eligible support can be considered. If you have questions about a particular activity or would like to discuss financial support, please contact the school as early as possible so we can help you plan ahead.
